Here’s what’s included in Costco’s Thanksgiving meal kit:
- 5 Lbs. all-natural, Amish farm-raised skin-on, netted Turkey Breast
- 1.5 Lb. tray of mashed potatoes
- 8 Oz. turkey gravy
- 1.6 Lbs. tray of mac and cheese
- 2 Lbs. pack of sweet corn
- 2 Lbs. pack of whole green beans
- 2 Lbs. tray of St. Claire dressing/stuffing
- 0.75 Lbs. jar of cranberry relish
- 12 dinner rolls
- 8″ whole pumpkin pie
- 8″ whole apple pie
According to Costco.com, pre-order by Nov. 5 to get the meal delivered between Nov. 8 and 17 while supplies last. The meal will arrive in two to three business days after placing the order. All meals are shipped frozen through FedEx. The cost of shipping is included in the quoted price, but an additional fee will apply for express shipments.
But if you’re looking to save money this Thanksgiving, preparing your own dinner is still the cheaper option.
Last year, the Farm Bureau’s 37th annual survey found that a classic Thanksgiving meal for 10 was $64.05, or less than $6.50 per person. This was up 20% from 2021 — due to inflation and other factors like avian influenza and a lower turkey population in the U.S. — but the cost of purchasing a turkey could be much lower this year.
